Why does it matter? None of them actually do anything, and they're all grinds, so just do one. It's not like there's any shortage of ways to spend a lot of time doing nothing in guild wars.

If you didn't die yet try for survivor. If you did do the missions, you will soon see some progress on your title screen and eventually feel the need to adavance in one or more title tracks. Try to get the bonus rewards or master rewards for the missions and you will have a lot of points towards guardian and protector by regularly doing the campaigns in NM and HM. Sunspear and Lightbringer points in Nightfall are also quite easy to get with questing through the campaign. |

Please do not take offense Fortuna, but as I started we just explored for fun and not for cartography and did what he suggested: Quote:

Yeah, just have fun and play through game, and the different chapters. In a year or so you can start thinking about titles, if they're worth anything to you. Though a really nice title for Warrior would be Factions Kurz/Lux for "Save Yourself" skill, or Sunspear skills are nice. Though check out all the new PvE skills on Wiki in EoTN, you may find some there that your warrior will like, Such as "I am the Strongest", or Finish Him!" Norm or Dwarf titles have some nice skills for warriors.

I got to 90% cartographer in Tyria just by exploring by myself. I just had fun seeing every inch of the world I love. This was before factions came out, though.
It does kind of stink that GW is now see as a game of titles, and not a game of content. Do your primary quests, if there are any other quests that offer rewards that you like or need, then do those. You will find that this will lead you to missions, do them, and all of this will progress you through the game. Then you will not be a n00b anymore and understand what we are talking about. we were all n00bs one day, so dont fret. -scoot |

A title for killing stuff is the best title.

What about not doing any title but playing as many chars as possible instead? You'd be better at the game in the end, and would have lots of skills unlocked for your heroes.

Seriously, it's too early to worry about titles. Just play and have fun. If you have to, you can map each area as you go for cartographer and bo all missions/bonuses for protector. |

Explore what you can in the early areas, and get the bonus on all missions, that's already 2 titles in your bag =)

I would suggest goin after a title that can benefit your warrior in some way. Whether it is skills, armor, or both.
If you only have proph and eotn, pick one of the title tracks in eotn and max it out. Some suggestions: Norn ---> Ursan, borrrring, it really is, and there are much better builds out there be a little creative please ----> I am unstoppable ----> I am the strongest Asuran ---> Pain Inverter, powerful helpful skill. Vanguard ---> Ebon battle standard of honor Dwarven ----> Great dwarf Weapon ----> Breath of Great Dwarf If you have factions, this is where i would go.......pick one of the sides(luxon/kurzick) and get the title as high as you can for "save yourselves" Great skill, very beneficial and the title track will benefit your whole account instead of just your main char. as far as grinding for a title that would impress, i like legendary skill hunter and vanquisher, you'll see all the game and make a fair amount of cash along the way instead of just grinding and doin the same shizzle over and over again. Besides you'll actually learn how to play your character/heros along the way. that said you really should finish a campaign and unlock Hard Mode. good luck either way Last edited by cokecan77; May 13, 2008 at 03:38 PM // 15:38.. |

And not all Ursans are the same. Noob Ursan (little bear) = Equal to a Mending/Frenzy Wammo. Average Ursan = Has some skill and doesn't die fast. Pro Ursan = Calls targets, gets the job done, doesn't die fast. Epic Ursan = Coordinated Ursan party with an Ursan (Alpha Bear?) that leads, calls target, protects Monks and gets the job done easily, rarely dies unless the Monk is sleeping on the job. Time = Money. Last edited by Alexandra-Sweet; May 13, 2008 at 05:07 PM // 17:07.. |
